At Amanah Global we are dedicated to championing sustainable business practice and raising environmental awareness of the issues our industry faces – with a particular focus on sustainable agricultural, mining and industrial production. We understand that there are serious environmental and social implications that have occurred from commodities-dependency in developing countries ranging from; pressure on natural resources, compromising sustainability; Agriculture commodities effect on local food supply chains and mining on worker’s wages. At Amanah we see it as our responsibility to help change this, leading by positive example. As an industry, we must take on the challenge of discovering methods to provide food and materials for the globes rapidly rising population, whilst respecting our planet’s resources and people.
Amanah Global’s sustainability policy aligns with the U.N’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which aim to end poverty, reduce inequality and tackle climate change.

We are aware of the role business plays in delivering these sustainable development goals from micro-enterprises to cooperatives to multinationals acting as enablers of inclusive economic growth, poverty reduction, job creation. We believe that business is a critical component in helping to build a better and a fairer world.

Amanah Global participates in achieving these aims by focusing on SDG 12 (responsible consumption and production).

Implementation Plan

1. We are committed to implementing all environmental legislations and regulations.
2. We ensure that our business policies and services are aligned with AGs sustainability policy.
3. We ensure that our environmental objectives are at the forefront of our business agenda with all staff receiving training to help us to deliver and improve our environmental objectivesand policies.
4. We have developed a sustainability framework to measure our environmental performance and a social responsibility framework to measure our our social impact. Our social and environmental outputs are used alongside our financial performance to measure annual success and returns at board level, honouring our commitment to the triple bottom line – people, planet, profit – business model.
5. We pledge to never compromise our commitment to sustainable and socially responsible business practice, and will not enter into business arrangements where there is a conflict of interest. Likewise,we will never prioritise funding requests and financial objectives over our company’s founding values of making a positive contribution to people and planet.
